Mexican Dessert
When I was little and lived in Cotija Michoacan, my grandmother used to set up a table outside with Gamesa Maria's cookies and this dessert to sell them for 5 cents each.

- 4 1/2 cups milk, divided

- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 4 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 1 can condensed milk
Add cornstarch to 1/2 cup of milk and heat until mixed. Mix eggs, vanilla, and cornstarch-milk mixture in blender.
Heat 4 cups of milk, cinnamon and condensed milk until boiled (about 10 minutes), stirring frequently. Add the blended ingredients to the warm milk; heat for 5 more minutes.
Serve warm or cold.
